The power-ups tend to do more than what is immediately obvious. Such as making you faster, granting a shield, or firing a missile at nearby bandits. You also pick up temporary power-ups, these can imbue your glider with a variety of useful boons. The bandits have a physical presence too, you can lead them into asteroids, black holes, and even the projectiles of other bandits. While not required, culling a number of them can buy you some time to collect more energy. You have to be creative in how you dispatch the bandits. You don’t have any weapons per se, but you aren’t defenseless either. If you exit on one side of the screen, you reappear on the other side symmetrically, Pac-man style Your movement is affected by momentum and inertia, and it’s up to you to work it to your advantage. Your craft and the bandits have physis within the world. The controls are simple, you turn and move it forward with one stick, and you have a button that boosts your speed, the more you tap the boost, the faster you move. By the time you are within 200 meters of the goal, bring the glider down closer to the ground to prepare for your landing.If you fly too high, be sure to correct your height by pressing in order to get some of your speed back.The goal is to land as close to the center of the landing zone (indicated by the white rails) as possible. Once you are close enough to the landing zone, bring your glider close to the ground and press to flair the glider, helping you bring it to a stop. Once you are flying, your next concern is to fly out of the way of the cliff that your glider will be flying toward. If you do not press B in time, your glider will plunge off the runway. As you do, press before you reach the very end to initiate your launch.
